Growing wild. Photos taken today. Full sun, dry as toast sand.![]() ![]() I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown ~~ |

Euphorbia sp., maybe E. heterophyllum but not sure. Edit: Sorry, should be heterophylla. |

Wild Poinsettia? Nothing that's been done can ever be changed. |

Summer Poinsettia (Euphorbia heterophylla) Wild Poinsettia (Euphorbia heterophylla var. cyathophora) ~ Playing in the dirt is my therapy ... and I'm in therapy a lot! ~ |

Looking through the USDA Plants listing of Euphorbia in Florida, and looking more closely, I'd still guess Euphorbia heterophylla. Is #5 a different plant than photos 1-4? Or a different part of the same plant? Here's some info about Euphorbia cyathophora (which usually has some coloured or white leaves underneath the flowers) and also about Euphorbia heterophylla, incuding a photo comparing the two: http://keyserver.lucidcentral.... Anyway, regardless, Euphorbia heterophylla has variable leaf shape, and it would still be my guess even if these are 2 different plants... might be wrong, as I'm not familiar with these plants. |

Both are found in Florida and although this site lists the genus as Poinsettia, it of course is Euphorbia: E. heterophylla: http://florida.plantatlas.usf.... E. cyathophora: http://florida.plantatlas.usf.... ~ Playing in the dirt is my therapy ... and I'm in therapy a lot! ~ |

The leaves reminded me of milkweed & the blooms reminded me of the Wild Poinsettia. Thanks! ![]() I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others.
