Has anyone grown Anisacanthus quadrifidus var. wrightii in Oregon or Washington?
If so, did it survive the winter?

I've never grown it, but this is what I see online:
"hardy throughout zone 8, and root hardy to zone 7"

ONE source said "hardy to Zone 6", but only one source. Another sopurce mentioned that North of some point, it is a perennial, but grows back from the roots every year.

It might want extra-good drainage during the winter in the PNW, like lavender.
