A plant genus that has minimal needs, thrives in some of the coldest climates and least hospitable conditions, yet provides interest throughout the year. Yet they do well in the rainy old Northwest. What more could you ask?

Oh, I do love these. We call them hen & chicks here in West Tennessee. I fondly refer to our small quite little town as Hooterville, any of y'all old enuf to remember Green Acres, the old TV show with Ava Gabor & Eddie Albert?? We collect Moon & Star glass & belong to a glass club & stay in touch online and have a yearly glass show & meeting. They all know me as signing off from Hooterville, lol. Of course, everyone knows where we live.
