My post Should have said thank you, not Narhan. Bad typo with auto correction. But you prob figured it out. I've thought of the story several times. Loved it. Www.carolmedfordart.com My passion is painting but gardening is running a close second. |

Somehow I just read your mind and knew what you meant! ![]() And I am so glad you enjoyed the story. The two things I remember so clearly from that event --trying to figure out where to bury that foil full of baked snake and the trip past my parents house with a new screen door in the back of the pickup truck. Nobody ever mentioned it to me, but I'm so sure my dad knew exactly what happened. Of course I went back to school then, so I was well out of the conversation. |

Such a great story, Sharon! It was a joy to read. Your stories always make me feel like I am living in the moment right there with you. I was missing seeing your stories, so went in search for some that I had not read yet. So glad that you have written so many wonderful stories of your enchanting experiences with Granny Ninna and Aunt Bett for us to enjoy reading and re-reading. At one time, you mentioned writing a book. Are you still pursuing that? Hope you are doing well ![]() Vickie May all your weeds be wildflowers. ~Author Unknown |

Hi Vickie, thank you. I have every intention of compiling all these stories into a book but got a little side tracked this past winter when I had a heart attack. Doing much better now so I'm hoping I'll be able to get back to writing soon. Happy almost Summer to you! I think it was a long time coming. ![]() |
