I love Chrysanthemums. And this color especially! But the addition of insects echoing the color is so much fun! I don't know what Skippers are but I hope they are not detrimental. They are really cool. |

Thanks Jennifer; Skippers are a species of butterfly, and there's a whole lot of them. The ones in the photo are probably the European Skipper. There may be 50 kinds in Illinois alone. Skippers are definitely aligned with the 'the good bugs'. And they make excellent subjects to photograph, I may be able to find a couple other neat shots of them. That chrysanthemum is my last flowering plant every year. Nothing that's been done can ever be changed. |

I would frame this and hang it on the wall. It makes me smile every time I look at it. And I can almost feel the warmth of the sunshine that is warming the skippers. Beautiful photo. |

Thanks Lynn. I might do that, as I've done it w/ 5 other photos. As we are re-arranging the computer/office room to accommodate a new desk my wife got me for X-mas (early X-mas) another pic/poster place could be made. ![]() ![]() ![]() I even had one (the crystals in the 2nd pic) made into some legal to use postage stamps (there's an internet site that does that). Nothing that's been done can ever be changed. |

Wow, those are beautiful jmorth. How do you have them made into framed pictures that large? |

I think the size is somehow related to pixels. If it isn't cropped, I think has something to do w/ said pixels; but don't really know. Nothing that's been done can ever be changed. |
