|Thanks for this wonderful set of photos skylark. This one with new and old leaves, fruit, a bloom and the square petioles is just great for ID's.

you'd probably won't want to leave the fairchild, if you were there... i go ev. week when i am in miami and ev time find smth that i missed before. naturally LAST time i went i passed by a tree studded with giant bird's nest anthuriums ( 3' leaves, promise).... high in the live oak, several of them... they had a drip line hooked up snaking into the tree too. i guess for dry season.
...and i did not take the camera?!?!... since i just wanted to wonder and get lost. still not sure where that tree IS, but i intend to post a pic of it eventually!
i intend to ask about those berries too, by the way, to see if they let me pick a few...
