|chickhill I'm madly in love with this planting/pic. The shades of green are wonderful. The texture is sublime.
Does this planter over winter for you or is it annual? I am going to have to go through my wood pile and see if I can find a log or two that I can hollow out.
Again, stunning! Thank you for sharing.

|Thank you. Someone had given hubby 2 sections of a hollow log to try bongo drums years ago (kept in dry). He never made the drums so I turned them into planters this year. Don't know how long they will last out in the weather. I did pretreat with termite/ant spray before I planted them.
Some more albums, stringy stonecrop. Little Missy is the one in front but she is not hardy in my zone 7a. I have to bring a pot of it inside for the winter. If you would like cuttings next spring let me know.
