Since I am unable to pronounce the latin name, I simply refer to this plant as hootenanny. It can be a pest.

An attractive pest Deb. It makes a real pretty banner.
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others.

Pronunciation guides tell me hoo-TY-nee-ah, or how-TY-nya, but I like Hootenanny much better. Thumbs up Great picture.

I go along with hootenanny, too. Although I took Latin many years ago, I'm not so good at it any more.

Hot tuna is a good one, too! Hilarious! Thanks for all the nice complements, and have a great turkey feast day!
