It's fun watching the dots progress northward. Spotted my 1st on May 5th, about 4 weeks after they were reported in my area. I've assumed mine were here to nest and as I'm not here to see them during the day I figured any stop-overs heading further north I missed. I did notice that my sugar water had gotten moldy when I saw my first hummer of the year. I know that feeder was spic and span, so I'm thinking that I might have had a stop-over or two and didn't see them. Next year I'll put the feeder out early April again on the off chance I may get lucky.
