my Bart is up. I need to find Garden Treasure. I don't remember where I planted it. I know it's in the new garden, just where I'm not sure. I do have it tagged tho, so I just need to take the time to find it. ;) LOL

Diann, you need to start making a drawing of where you place things in relation to others. When one of our storms washed everything away the map was the only way I knew where anything was located.

Yeah, that would be a really good idea. I keep telling myself that very same thing. I know a plant map is a good idea and I do appreciate being reminded about it. Thank you. :)

The old saying "Do what I say, not what I do" I have not mapped for the last couple of years so one of these days I will be in trouble.

Same here, or sometime I'm planting and I write it on a paper bag with intention of transferring it to a piece of paper but never made it....

Quick question, I have seen photo of a pink fern leaf peony or did I imagine it in my dream. If so, do any of you know a name of one?

There is/was a peony nursery in Center Point Iowa and I think Mac had a pink fern leaf. However, I'm not sure if the place is in business anymore. Mac is getting up there and has slowed down tremendously. I believe his son was helping him run the place last I knew. They were open last year. I guess it would be a case where you would need to call him and talk to him. I know that he had some problems filling orders and so, like I said, I'm not sure they are still in business. I'll know in a couple months, because I'll take a road trip up there. Center Point is just up the road a bit from me. Maybe 50 miles...

Look, my Hot Chocolate has a stem that is weirdly twisty upside down. I'm not going to do anything to eat for fear of breaking a stem.

Oriental peony I have been told. Beautiful blooms and nice size plants.
