Seems like it comes from a company named BloomIQ http://bloomiq.com/search/luce... Floramedia is the company that made the tag. Linda, can you contact them and see if they can give you a history on this plant? |

I checked the website BloomIQ, only one they show is Lemon Coral. I can try Lynn. |

O K label on plastic pot is from Wenke-Sunbelt, Kalamazoo, MI. Also showing on their website sunbeltphotos.com. Grown in Douglas, GA, will call them Monday instead of emailing the tag company. ![]() Wenke grower is in Kalamazoo, MI, Sunbelt growers in Douglas, GA |

Should have read on the pot label before I posted. ![]() Have sent email to The Barn Nursery where I bought it asking them about it. Also found out that they also buy from Riverbend wholesalers (you know, the one with all the sedum on my want list). Ask them to please get in newer varieties of sedum . Sent them my sedum want list ![]() ![]() |
How exciting Linda. Keeping my fingers crossed that they get all on your list. ![]() I am hoping that Perennial Obsession will be able to get the new introduction by Chris Hansen, the sedum/orostachys cross named 'Blue Elf'. |

O K here is their email reply: At this point, it doesn't look like we will be dealing with Riverbend Nursery. We have had several of the Sedums you listed, from other suppliers. Could 'Lemon Belle' be 'Lemon Ball' ? Thank You, Craig Forgot to call the place in GA. hope I can remember tomorrow ![]() |
Drat, that is what I was afraid of. Linda, in the spring I can send you some of my 'Lemon Ball' to grow alongside your 'Lemon Belle'. That way we can see them growing in the same conditions. Wonder if I could send some now? |

Thanks Lynn, I bought one tagged Lemon Ball earlier in spring from them. Will go out when it warms up and make their photo side by side. Let's wait for spring on cuttings. Got a sneaky feeling my 2 are the same. ![]() |
Sounds like a good plan Linda. |

Out checking on Lemon Ball and Lemon Belle today, both pots look dead, dried up. We had some 0 come back degree nights. I do hope they come back. How are other folks, colder than me 7a, plant doing? |
Linda, how are you doing? Good to see you. It might be a bit before it comes out of dormancy. Some of mine are just now showing up in my zone 8. Were the containers getting water over the winter? |

@chickhill Hi Linda, sorry its taken me so long to reply...here are 2 photos of my 'Lemon Ball' I have it indoors, under grow lights, it is doing pretty well...the stems seem weaker than when its growing outside, but just by a little bit! Good luck with your plants this spring - I can't wait to get this guy back outside - another week probably! @valleylynn wanting to make sure you see this also ![]() ![]() ![]() Cheers ![]() |
