I was paging through a book and I saw this 1822 painting of a Maragon Lily. Not a very good painting but I immediately thought of JMORTH.

1822 is a very old style that many painters used to depict all the fine parts of a flower and in the case of Audobon ,birds.These old paintings are great for horticulture botanical reference.
I think they have the charm of antiques of that period.
