Great Pictures you guys I am enjoying this thread..My Favorite from there recent intro's is Petticoat Shuffle way different than anything else on the market and a good grower here. I think it may lead to some exciting new patterns in Plicata's.

Wow! You are so right Brad about Petticoat Shuffle! I'm generally not that drawn to a lot of plicatas, but it certainly has a unique look- love it! Your clump shot really captures a softness.

Starship Enterprise is glorious! And Great Smokey Dawn is really appealing too. Good grief, that last bunch are all winners!

Liking Pedicoat Suffle, and Great Smokey Dawn, but gotta ask if that is a clump shot of Great Smokey Dawn? Or a bunch crammed into a vase. If the clumps grow that crowded, I don't think I want it.

Tom wanna the cool things about Schreiner's display gardens is the locals can come in during bloom season and pick out Iris by the dozen to take with them. They also have a room setup with every flower they grow labeled and priced so you can walk through and order it right there.

OK, so I don't have to worry about Great Smoky Dawn growing in a tight cluster. Guess that goes on the list. Smiling

Thanks Neal... Petticoat Shuffle is Awesome really stands out because of how unique it is.

Tom.. Great Smokey Dawn has a nice blend of colors in it and a good fitting name Smiling if I remember right it was tall one with good branching lots of flowers looked good in there display garden and field. I wish the form was a little more modern prefer tighter standards and more ruffles but for color it is nice.

Yes, 'Petticoat Shuffle'!! Also 'Dance the Night Away', and 'Great Smoky Dawn' are very nice.

'Stepping Out' was one of my first named ones as well.. I think I ordered 3 from Wayside back in the late '80's.. 'Stepping Out', 'Edith Wolford' are two of the originals that I still grow. My Dad used to use the phrase "we're going stepping out".. I bought it because of that. Edith I just thought was pretty. Smiling

I will take you up on that Greg! And you too Bonnie! Hee! Hope you both have great growth over the winter.

Neal - that was a pic of Starship from my garden. It does okay for me. Didn't bloom for me last year, but has increased nicely. I moved most of mine around this summer, so I am not sure it will bloom next spring, but it looks like it will. Many of mine aren't old enough to know if they are long term keepers or not. Some don't like the hot humid summers much (such as Apollodorus/Midnight Oil), while others thrive in it (Silverado, Ninja Turtles, Las Vegas).
