OK, I'm dancing. Heaven knows Natty has had more than enough rain & is sick of it by now so we'll see what we can do to try & get it to move on down your way Linda. And to California too as they sure need it also.

It is a beautiful foggy day here, so I think that the rain has stopped for now, even though I can't see past the window. We have to run into town to take the dogs to the vet, so Mark's clean truck is going to look like we went mud bogging. The redwing blackbirds are starting to come back. I see them mixed in the flocks of birds that come for the scattered seeds on the driveway. In among them are the cowbirds also. This happens every spring.

Hurray! Hurray! We took the long way into town, and it isn't covered in mud! Our road is in two counties, and our county takes much better care of the road. They graded it a couple of days ago, so it was in good shape. The other county leaves it until the potholes are large enough to eat vehicles, and it is always really muddy after it rains. So, Mark is a happy camper today!

I know. I'm often a victim of the old saying that really isn't true but I never fail to hope.

56f here yesterday and sunny, 54f expected today but with a cold easterly wind. It has been sunny all week which is very welcome but now I'm having to water pots! The lawn has finally ceased to be a mudbath and everything is shooting like mad. Daffodils and primroses everywhere and the first scape of the year on Just My Size. Oh yes, spring is here Hurray!
