I'm crying from laughing so hard! All the Baptists I've ever known have danced. That includes my own family. Whistling

Rain dancing is what I'm referring to, of course. That was always a part of growing up for me. I'm part Indian though.....

Halfprice said:Hi Sue, we don't get smog here. We are in the Dartmoor National Park, beautiful clean rather colder air.

Glad to hear it Hilary, the news said it was particularly bad as far west as Bristol, but you'd still be quite a bit west of that. I remember once as a kid going on vacation with my parents to Dartmoor - we had one of those Morris Minor station wagons with the wood trim (showing my age!). My Dad wasn't too happy Grumbling when we stopped at the side of the road to admire some Dartmoor ponies and a mare and foal started gnawing on the wood.

Sometime tonight when y'all are finished dancin' and shakin' your booty and diggin' out from the snow and maybe sleeping, I'll sneak in and take James' advice and change us to a Spring thread. Maybe it will be a magical moment and Spring will pop out everywhere.

In the meantime, if you have a picture of a Spring - y bloom, maybe you could send it to me so I can use it as the new thread starter since my only bloomin' crocus got mauled by the rain yesterday. I tried to move that rain out to Linda and Tarev and Kelli, but I don't think it happened. I am a rain moving failure.

All that to say Happy Spring. I'll start a new Weather thread tonight and I need a picture. Y'all have a really good day! Smiling

Spring did you say? Spring? What happened to spring? It missed us. It's summer here already. 85 degrees at 2:18pm.
Sighing!
