Yes Mike it is registered at 36" but most scapes make 38" and the flowers are so imposing it looks even taller! I had to move it because I couldn't see Rocket Booster (also registered 36").

Betty, it is Crintonic I Love Lucy. I believe there was a question raised about the name so Curt put Crintonic as the prefix (there is a daylily registered previously as I Luv Lucy).

That's a good idea, Cindy, and I'll try to get to it in the next week or so. Right now I'm focusing on seed planting (I'm VERY slow) plus I'm still playing catch-up with the alphabet. But in the meantime if anyone else wants to start one, that would be great!

Such a treat to see daylilies I normally wouldn't see in these alphabet threads. I am constantly amazed by how good pre-1990 cultivars can look.

I have only one registered I.

Also, I have Scott Alexander's unregistered 'Irresistabelle', which didn't flower this year (and is awful for rust).

The problem is that when you are young your life it is ruined by your parents. When you are older it is ruined by your children.
