I thought yesterday's iris narrative that Greg had going was kind of fun, so I thought we could start a story.

I've provided the title, and here are the "rules" for this one.

1. Each post will be ONE complete sentence that includes at least one named iris.

2. If you post an entry to the story, you have to wait until there are two (2) other posts by other people before you make another post, not matter how much you have the perfect next sentence.

3. Each sentence must continue the story theme as it develops.

4. You can't conclude the story until after 8:00 p.m. central time on Friday, Jan. 30, 2015

5. Story theme and content must be PG 13 or G rated

6. and can be given to sentences that make you laugh the most, and include the most frequent and creative use of iris names.

7. Except for main character names, iris names can't be repeated.

8. If you cross post and what you said doen't make sence or fit in, AND IT'S THE LAST POST, you are responsible to delete or edit your post to make it work, or you can make a new one that works.

9. Having fun is required!

10. You can add the pictures of the irses into the text.

(Good start Bonnie, but I dont' want to blemish the story with comments)! You can also put pictures from the data base that would have the name of the iris in it or just type the name as you have done!)

*AMAZING DON* thought it was an *ABSOLUTE JOY* to be *AWAKE* this morning in time to hear the *SKYLARK’S SONG* and see the *BLUE HUES* of the sky reflected in the *BLUE POOLS* of the *BERING LAGOON*, what a *SUNRISE ELEGY*!

Across town, Teenybopper was very excited -- today was the day of the big Dance Recital, to be held at Dover Beach, and since she was a thoroughly American Maid, and the Daughter of Stars, it was important that she look good -- so the dress she chose to wear today was Peppermint Cream and Persian Berry in color: her three very best friends in the whole wide world -- Edith Wolford, Amanda Erin and Mary Frances -- were also going, and they were going to meet at the Terra del Fuoco restaurant before heading over to the dance together where Teenybopper was secretly hoping that Matt McNames would also be attending today, not only because he was a Merry Amigo, but a Pop Idol as well -- and she was hoping for a very Romantic Evening!!!

Until Emma Grace came in the door wearing a Cotillion Gown with an Eye for Style!

Meanwhile, *AMAZING DON* decided to *KNOCK ‘EM DEAD* today with *FANCY DRESS* so he donned his *OXFORD TWEEDS* of *DAINTY DESIGN*, (it *BEING BUSY* with *GRANDMA’ LACE*), his *SCARLET RIBBON* on *BANBURY RUFFLES* and his *BANGLES*, which *TRULY* *JANGLES*.

Hearing the music as she walked in, Material Girl and Don't Stop Believing playing loudly, Teenybopper felt inappropriately dressed in her Taffeta Tutu, it was a Lacy Tutu, and a Pink Tutu as well, and worst of all, it was borrowed...yes, this is Charlotte's Tutu! As Enamored as she'd been with the idea this would be an Enchanted Memory for her, she now was feeling a Dragon Dance would be more fun....

Now well dressed, Don made it to his favorite COFFEE SHOP, to knock back an IRISH COFFEE. A man with serious COFFEE JITTERS approached him and said "Hey Don, have you heard that the DARK AND DANGEROUS criminal DAN LAING has escaped from prison?"

*ZOUNDS* Don did *SCREAM* like a *DRAGON KING*, a *CIRCUS DRAGON* at that, in a *VIBRANT*, *OUTSPKEN* voice!

Just then Another Woman slithered into the shop, Wearing Rubies and Florentne Silk.

She sidled up to Don and said "would you like to meet me for Drinks at Sunset?"

All the time he knew she was just a *HONKY TONK HUSSY* who thinks she’s an *ENCHANTED PRINCESS* but is really just a *FLIRTY MARY*, the *LITTLE VIXEN*!

Coffee Jitters whispered to the COFFEE TRADER "DEWUC WHATIC? That is some DAMSEL IN A DRESS!"

Don stuttered "I,I could Dance to Paris with you, gorgeous, if I can Ask a Lady."

Just then STAN COATS walked, leaving no doubt that he was WELL ENDOWED by the tight WRANGLER genes he was wearing, leaving DANCE HALL DOLLY standing with her mouth open drooling like a St. Bernard.

*HOLY KOSMOLY* Stan was *DRESSED TO KILL* and he felt like a real *PLICUTIE*.

It was Fogbound in the city , and silhouetted in the doorway, Stan, his green Cat's Eye skimming
the crowd, settled on her and he growled, "Care to Dance?"

Poor TEENYBOPPER, always had a thing for Stan, and seeing him dancing with that WENCH, made her feel like the GIRL NEXT DOOR, so she ran out with her BLUE EYES CRYING.

As Don looked on he thought to himself ‘Sometimes I feel like joining the *FOREIGN LEGION* just to escape this *P. T. BARNUM’S* *FLEA CIRCUS* and now I have a *BADITUDE* about it all and will have to use my *ENGLISH CHARM* and some *OLD BLACK MAGIC*, which is a *DEEP DARK SECRET*, even a *SUPERSTITION* some would say, but worked well during my *TOUR DE FRANCE*’.

Suddenly someone shouted "Stop the Music"!

SMOKE AND THUNDER began to rise from BACK STAGE as the STAGE CURTAIN began to fall a SHARP DRESSED MAN stepped forward and addressed the crowd, saying that there was a FIRE DOWN BELOW, and people should leave at once, being safe, and careful not to leave anyone behind.
