I thought I'd make a companion thread for questions, or comments regarding the saga of the Amazind Dan Narrative so that questions could be answered, and comment could be made about the story without muddying up the story. I used only iris names I grow. Is that something we should do? If we use only iris names we grow can we open it up like on Thursday or Friday to using any registered iris? My mind is made up, don't confuse me with facts. |

Bonnie pointed out that I had multiple sentences in my post. I went back and edited to change that. But everyone else (except Bonnie) is using more than one sentence. How do we remind them without interrupting the story? Thoughts become things -- choose the good ones. (www.tut.com) |

@tveguy3 @muddymitts Some of my sentences would make my old prof lose her breakfast but I agree with Mary Ann. You may have to jump in the thread and remind them and then edit it out except for an iris name or two. lol My mind is made up, don't confuse me with facts. |

The sentence thing seems to be working out. Great story, got me laughing like mad. You don't have to own the iris to use the name, feel free to use any registered iris name, bearded or un bearded. Oops, I just saw this. I've been traveling and not reading all the threads. I missed the part where you are only supposed to add one sentence at a time. Sorry for hijacking the story...I was trying to steer it in the direction of the title "Amazing Don, Private Eye - Case of the missing Teenybopper". I'll play by the rules from now on...I promise! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

There are also varieties being re-used. Maybe someone has time to make a list... I'd do it, but it's nap time for me.. ![]() I'm so impressed with everyone's creativity.. Pretty darned funny! When counting, try not to mix chickens with blessings. |

Yes, I noticed I accidentally re-used Deep Dark Secret. Personally I think that if people try not to re-use them it doesn't matter if one occasionally slips through. Since you are the Game/Thread creator Tom...what do you think? |

We are in need of a new installment in this stalled thread, since the rules say 2 posts between anyones' new post. "Garden as though you will live forever" - William Kent, English landscape architect. |

Also, we must take care to distinguish between Don and Dan! Protagonist and Antagonist! ![]() "Garden as though you will live forever" - William Kent, English landscape architect. |

Ah jeez--I didn't mean to kill it! wait--did I get them mixed up? which is which? I was just goofing around with as many names as I could pack into a really weirdly constructed looooong 'sentence' ![]() |
