I live in zone 9 at 3,000 foot elevation in Sage, CA. We typically get one snow event (2-3 days at the most), most low temps in 40's, highs 90's.

I'd like to grow raspberries. Do you think they would be ok? When should I start them in my above-ground garden boxes?

Thank you!

Welcome! I grow raspberries in zone 8b (Georgia) and we typically get no snow, although we have been getting cold night time temps. Look for raspberries suited to hotter weather like Carolines, I believe is the name.
