Okay, here are my first attempts with clay
Brown door and 'lantern' are for the Gnome side of the tree, Flower door for the Fairy side, and butterfly, froggie and flower stepping stones for the garden area. Oh and my niece's rendition of tinkerbell

I'm too chicken to do the figurines too! My DN took a ceramics class in high school, she tried making tinkerbell then, but it broke in the kiln....so this is really her 2nd try at it. I think she did an awesome job!!

It doesn't take much to get me hooked and it's not an expensive craft unless you want it to be. I like crafting this way, kind of like garden art on a budget.
Save the planet, it's the only one with chocolate.
Know how to solve that??? I mix the white in with the colored. It helps and you get some really nice mixes.
don't force too much in your machine, it will mess it up. Ask me how I know?????Yep, I'm on my second machine and I really need another. But this will do . Love it..
UGH! If I break this machine DH will be really irritated! I paid $50 for it He really grumbled about the price, til I pointed out that I dont even make a sound when he buys a $50 drill bit or saw blade Plus it will save my hands from all that kneading

Charleen, I bought mine at the pharmacy here in my lil village cuz I'm a 'have to have it NOW' kinda gal but I looked online at joanne's last night and was relieved to that the same machine online thru them was same price...so really I got it now and didnt have to pay shipping

Hello all. Enjoying reading your posts and seeing pics of your polymer clay creations. Just joined the forum. Your posts here are old, so hope you are still active members and will see this post. I want to try making sculpey clay creations for my outdoor fairy garden. I learned on the internet that there is a premo sculpey clay that is the best for standing up to the weather. Any feedback appreciated. Do you use the premo sculpey ? How are your creations holding up in the outdoors ? Do you bring yours in during the winter ? ( we get some snow here in BC Canada in winter , and quite a bit of rain here on the coast) Thanks.
I use Sculpey Premo and have found that the clay does hold up well outside, but the colors fade drastically. But I left mine out all year. I'm in Wisconsin and we get lots of rain and snow. I had even sealed them.
