This picture was taken of a plant in Dallas, Tx. Anyone know what it is? The way it's pruned makes it look like a sea urchin.![]() Cauliflower is just a cabbage with a college education (mark twain) |

Possibly Eragrostis of some sort, commonly called "Lovegrass", "Tumblegrass" etc. Purple Lovegrass (Eragrostis spectabilis) http://www.wildflower.org/plan... http://www.bing.com/images/sea... ~ Playing in the dirt is my therapy ... and I'm in therapy a lot! ~ |

It does look like one of the mounding types. Hard to tell because of the pruning. Cauliflower is just a cabbage with a college education (mark twain) |

Do you know the name of the street they were on? Might be possible to look on Google street view and see them un-pruned at another time of year. Devious huh? ![]() |
