Boy are things starting to pop at the Perennial Obsessions Nursery. I had a great time visiting with Dave, Cinda and Kevin, looking at all the new varieties that Cinda will eventually have available, some of which have made the journey from Germany and England. I am really excited to see the when the become available.
Meanwhile she has a number of old varieties that have not been around for a long time. They came from a long time collector/nurseryman. He had quite an extensive collection. Some very interesting things to be found here.
Maybe
@perennialobsessions can tell us more about this person and what it is that he did in sempervivum?
Meanwhile I am sorry to say I only took a very few photos, I was way to busy buying new semps to replace ones that I lost this winter.
Here is Don's heuffelii seedlings that are just starting to germinate. He also has some semp seedlings, but I forgot to get a photo of them.
A few of Cynda's container projects. Can you see Kevin and Cynda? Oops, I guess that is Dave and Cynda.
Many semps are ready for market. And some came home to live with me.
My new babies, including a new sedum and 3 new saxifraga. And replacements for the S. 'Pink Pearl' I lost this winter.
What a wonderful day it was.
