Was given this cutting but she didn't know the Id.
The flecks on the leaves are more pink than they appear in the photo. Underside is dark red.

It can also be B. 'Sophie Irene'.
i think they are very similar, except 'Sophie Irene' is smaller: 2-3', while 'Sophie Cecile' is listed at 3-4'.
you'll need to wait until it flowers, unless you can get a pic from your friend?

I actually had one already that came to as Sophie Cecile many years ago. So now I'm going to have to really compare it, but...I just cut them all back as they had gotten frosted over the winter., and the one in the pot was leggy.

But I think with everyone's help I'm on the right track now. Hurray!
