JungleShadows said:I gave Greg some of my stock that came from Mina Colvin directly. She had grown seedlings of arachnoideum var. Tomentosum and showed a slide of the seedlings in our round robin. I remarked on two as being distinct. She sent me offsets of those two plants and she subsequently named them Silver Thaw and Raspberry Ice. Both are nice plants. My 'Silver Thaw' has sported a different color rosette so it is possible that we are looking at a somatic mutation in the faux 'Raspberry Ice' too.
Some of the specimens look to have too thin leaves. 'Raspberry Ice' has broader leaves, much broader than 'Silver Thaw'.
Ok out to transplant seedlings!
