![]() By JKing | Gardeners are enthusiastic about our plants and our gardens. However, we see our own garden much differently from the way our friends view it. How often do we say "you should have seen my garden last week?" [View the item] |

I loved your article and your point of view. I agree that the creator and the viewer see things differently. Everyone walks into my garden and ooh and aah...no matter what season. I am seeing that I am more critical of what I have done, than other viewers. This is not about a young garden. This is a garden that started about 15 years ago and I am still working to make it the best (and final) garden. I have learned about gardening as I go along and have learned so much by my many mistakes. I have also learned that age makes you rethink your garden...where I am at now. I do feel lucky to have people appreciate all the work I have done. I have also learned I can not copy another garden or follow a landscaper, and be happy. I have to do it to please me. And if I do that, people will like it. A garden is like a piece of art....an expression of the artist. |

Great viewpoint and I enjoyed reading your article. I have said "you should have seen it last week!" many times. Vickie May all your weeds be wildflowers. ~Author Unknown |
