Most Dracaena species will branch out when cut back.
Here is a picture of my D.marginata rebranching.

The drawback to the more branches is the slower the growth, but you get a bushier looking plant.

Sometimes branches will start but then mysteriously stop, this is normal and nothing to worry about.

The cutt off parts can easily be rooted in dirt or water.

You can put them in soil and they will root too.

I have 2 of these, I have a green one and a burgandy/green one. They both have branched and nice full bushy tops.

Mekos- the first one I think is a D.reflexa hybrid, the 2nd one is D.marginata for sure

Yep, I know the marginata is for sure, I remember the names when I showed you pictures on the c-mail. The other one should be there as well. It may be the Anita like I sent you. I lost the tags and can't remember. But one said it was an air purifier.

haha air purifiers are one of the most rare species!

One of the most common around here. I got it for 1.00 at Lowe's on clearance, and slightly larger than the one I sent you.

I love how some of those stores just throw things onto the sale table!!
