Most of the Verbascums are weedy for me.. This one looks like it might be better behaved.. ?? The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that it has never tried to contact us. |

Looking great Arlyn! you must be at peak already. Voltaire: "Those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities," |

The Verbascum does reseed but not too much. I started 3 from seed about 5 years ago. I have maybe 8 plants now? I haven't pulled any seedlings that I know of. I let them all grow. |

Yes, Tom, I would say peak is here !....things ,I think, will fall off pretty quickly, too, as it seems most of the ones either dead, or sick, from rot were late bloomers. |

I think red and purple go great together! I really like the white flowers in that picture -- they add wonderful contrast!! Should have a third clump, though -- never plant or decorate in even numbers. That's a really beautiful bed, Celia!! ![]() Thoughts become things -- choose the good ones. (www.tut.com) |

Three clumps of those, too. This pic isn't as good as the other but you can see the 3 spots the Verbascum is in.![]() |
