Gerris2 said:Here is my other Adenium obesum I grew out from seed. Seed came from Mr. Ko on eBay years ago. I have unfortunately lost the identity tag. That doesn't bother me, I think it is mahvelous, simply mahvelous.

Joseph,
I have one, so far, that looks almost exactly like yours--also grown from seed. And I do love the fragile, dainty look of it. It's a keeper. nodding

What fun, Kadie, it makes me want to grow others but I don't have more room. They're very addictive.

i am also growing some from seed, my first lot were just a cheap mixed bundle from aliexpress i had never heard of these plants before then, i was growing 1000s of different plants from seed last summer and it was so hot that i lost nearly all of them then i stumbled onto these and read that they love the heat so i ordered my first lot of seeds, then i got addicted and bought some of ebay from mr ko, i was so excited last week when i went outside to have a look how they are all going and i think 2 of my seed grow plants have buds at least i think they might be small buds forming they are exactly 1 year old, will probably be all plain pink, cant wait till mr kos get big enough to flower i think they are about 6 months old and got through winter no probs, we dont have a very cold winter so all mine kept growing.
i got sick of waiting for mine to grow so i actually bought 2 plants from the shops a few months ago they came into flower about 2 weeks ago and this is the first time i have seem adenium in flower wow what a show they put on

Patience is indeed rewarded with the wonderful flowers the plants make. My plant is reblooming, second time in one year.
