I'm hoping you can help me out. We have what I believe is Golf Moss Sedum that has been very very easy to grow in my rock wall and a friends. We took on a large watertower and after filling the cracks with dirt planted clippings and "blobs" of this sedum as we have always done before with zero problems.

It's been two weeks and the leaves are all turning yellow and it looks like they are sick. They had a good rain a week ago so it's not lack of water is it?? Did someone spray these? Too much heat around the boulders? Bad dirt (not sure where the dirt came from - never mattered before).

ANY ideas or comments would be helpful = we picked this sedum because it has never ever given us a problem before.

I attached a photo of where it came from and what it looked like yesterday.

Great catch on the name Marilyn.

Rod can you give us a close up photo of either one of the plants, established growth, or the newly transplanted. The above photo of leaves look incorrect for Sedum 'Gold Moss'.

Well - here is what I can tell you. The cuttings we planted in the rock wall are doing great. The "clumps" that had roots died out about 90% and now are coming back and showing life. The sedum in question looked like this 2 weeks ago and is now REALLY flowering on my personal rock wall (not the water towers wall).

So we are only using cuttings now and watering twice a week until they can fend for themselves.

That is beautiful Rod, and glad to hear that the transplants are finally taking hold.
It looks a lot like Phedimus kamtschaticus. Kamschatca Stonecrop (Phedimus kamtschaticus)

Hi Rod, Welcome!

Your plants look great!! (We're almost neighbors - I'm from Ripon, WI.) That one does very well for me here too. Do you grow any other sedum?
