|I got these two weeping willows from work the tops had died.so I thought I would try to bonsai them. I have never done this so any information would be helpful.I thought I would keep them in these big pots for another year while I started training the branches and then next year put them in a training bonsai pot.|

To my eyes I don't 'see' Bonsai' when I look at your two willows, but that's just my old mind being stubborn.
If you imagine it you can do it! Go for it and take lots of photos along the way.

|Ya right now I don't see bonsai either but I'm hoping in a couple of years they will look more like a Bonsai. Thanks for the link I will look into it.|

|I googled 'weeping willow bonsai' and got quite a few pictures. It's a lovely tree. Good luck and take lots of pictures!|
