This is a great perennial plant. The photographed specimen has been in this spot for 4 years now. It is not the best soil. It is almost totally impervious to deer. It is a neat and restrained plant -- not at all invasive (though an occasional seeding does volunteer). It is already in bloom and performs for a prolonged period. It has survived the periods of drought and severe winters and keeps coming back for more.
The bright cheery yellow flowers contrast nicely against the variegated foliage. Very highly recommended!
