I'm glad I waited to read this article. I had time to look at every flower, every possibility. Your garden is really beautiful, a riot of colors. Just what I like. In the fall, I'll come back here to make a list of some seeds I need to try for next spring!

I'd been a little busy and have saved this article too...the word that comes to my mind is breathtaking. We don't see flowers like this in the Southwest ... not mnay anyway. I have zone 5 envy!

Beautiful, Lee Anne. Do your neighbors love living next door to you?

I don't know if they do or not Becky! None of them have been inspired to create their own gardens...

Loved the tour through your gardens..I too am z5 but in the Southern portion..I have many of the same flowers you do but mine are lanquishing now in the extreme heat we are having..They are also being over run by crab grass and weeds as this lazy gardener is staying indoors most of the time..Thanks so much for all the pictures..

Great inspiration. I printed off the narrative only as I don't have a color printer right now. All the flowers you mention grow here, some better than others. I suspect those that don't grow terribly well are because I am doing something wrong: water, soil, sun, etc.
