I am interested in, specifically, the Matt Daylily. I am trying to purchase some for myself and a family that has had a recent loss. I want to give one plant to each of his siblings as well as his parents and gis wife and daughters as a way to honor him. I am having a hard time locating a place to purchase either the plant or the bulbs.

I googled and I don't know anything about these places or where they ship from but they have 'Matt' listed for sale:
http://www.a1daylilies.com/Matt.html - $8.00 for a double fan
http://dayliliesforsale.com/daylily/Matt - but they show it out of stock
http://saksadaylilyfarm.com/products/matt-df - $7.00 (maybe DF means double fan?)
http://curriesdaylilyfarm.com/home/index.php?action=show_day... - $5.00 double fan

Welcome Neb, and good luck with your project. How thoughtful and kind of you.

Erin,

*Blush* I forgot to say Welcome! and to offer my condolences for the loss of your friend.

What a sweet gesture and memorial gift that Daylily will be for Matt's family members. If you do find that Daylily available for sale they probably won't be in bloom when you receive them but you could print a photo to attach to each plant so they can see what those beautiful blooms look like.

Plants Admin

As I said in my post in your other thread about this daylily...

You may wish to consider that a couple of ATP members have this plant listed for sale as well...

Don't know anything about the vendors, tho.

I live about an hour from this garden….. I can say that they have been very nice people to deal with and the plant I got from them was well grown and they were generous. I drove there and got it in person, though.. did not do mail order. MATT is an older one and might be harder to find. Daylilies here are just coming into bud to bloom. I am sure that if they have enough, they could direct ship right to the people that you want to give to if that would help. It has been hot here though, so this is not the best time of year to ship.

I purchased from Harmon Hill this Spring and recommend them.

It also looks like Ogden Station sells it for only $3.

I have no experience with them, however.
