hi all,

2 days ago I had my very first flower on Russian Rhapsody, a beauty! Thumbs up

Today I had 2 more flowers, but they both lack some petals and sepals.. Confused
Thumb of 2015-07-07/Mayo62/a2829c Thumb of 2015-07-07/Mayo62/9a35ee

Does this happen often? It looks kind of weird to me... Crying
Both scapes have more buds, will they be the same or can they be 'normal'?
If not, should I get rid if these fans..?

Thank You!
Mayo

It happens. The next ones can be normal. The bottom right could be from thrips damage although it's not always easy to know what causes the white marks. Definitely don't get rid of those fans.

Thanks for the info, Sue Thank You!

I think one of my cats 'played' with that bud, so perhaps that caused the white marks.. Sighing!
Glad to hear it's no permanent fault in my fans, because I REALLY like this cultivar! Lovey dubby
