I think it would be kind of fun to see how many plants in the database got their first photo. Either every day or every week. Is this something that could be implemented?

Joy do you mean to bring the attention of database entries that had no photo previously and now have their very first photo?

@Dave Tracey, explained what I was trying to say. Just some way to see what plants got their first photos.

That's an interesting idea. Are you thinking of having a special report that you could load up, or make this a visible feature somewhere? I like the thought.

Probably just a visible feature somewhere. To see how many plants got their first photos and maybe which plants those were, so one can go check them out.

Joy, I think that's a great idea. I went to Selby Botanical Gardens and a couple of plant shows this year and came home with tons of photos. Lots of them were the first photos uploaded to those particular plants. As I was uploading them, I remember thinking it would be nice if there was some way to tell the membership that these plants now had pictures, in case they were interested. For the plant shows, I made my own thread in the appropriate forum so people interested in those plants could see, but the botanical garden had a variety of rare and unusual plants that I'm sure some of the members would want to know about but I didn't have any way to really tell them. I like the idea of a regular report we could look at to see the "first photos" added to the database.
