I have driven past the sign for a designated "natural area" near me hundreds of times, each time thinking to myself "I've got to check that out sometime". Finally did it today and it was much larger (over 600 acres) and much more than I expected. Today, late in the year and in near drought conditions, there was not much blooming. Next spring I will visit again when I am sure there will be many more wildflowers blooming.

Dennis it looks to me like you hit the jackpot, drought conditions & late in the year or not. I can't imagine it being any prettier. Thumbs up
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown
