Right off-hand I am going to go out on a limb and say no, they are not the same. "Garden Pleasure" is registered in the RHS Lily Register. I could not find "Garden Treasure" in the Register but it looks like B&D lilies has sold a lily that looks just like that as "Garden Treasure". But from the photos that I have seen of "Garden Treasure" the two look the same to me, right down to the purple stigma. Could be something is rotten in Denmark when it comes to the name of this lily.
B&D did give an additional hint not mentioned for "Garden Pleasure" in the Registry; the stem of "Garden Treasure" is nearly black. If you are growing this you might take a look at the stem next year.
Name: Michael Norberry Arcata, CA Zone 9 or 17 suns (Zone 9a)
Garden Pleasure was purchased as a Tree Lily... It was in a collection with a.) American Heritage, b) American Hope, & c) Garden Pleasure. My database indicates I have it listed as Garden Pleasure/Treasure. I will need to check my records to find out who I purchased them from.
Purchased several years ago BRECKS. Since that time I only purchase from companies I know will send true named lilies.
I guess every vendor needs a twist on their plants.
Tree lilies must referr to the huge diameter stems those OT's get. Satisfaction and Shockings have to be cut with a tree pruner.
I dont deal with Brecks, too many mistakes from them. I purchased Garden Treasure from B&D Lilies.
Name: Anthony Weeding Rosetta,Tasmania,Australia (Zone 7b) idont havemuch-but ihave everything
jo ann, i purchased the same lily here, as wild treasure,.,.about 5 years ago..it did not reappear for sale ever again, and i have 2 pots of it 'cooking' - it seems to have a lot of longiflorum influence and fades easily
Mine are holding up well planted in morning and afternoon light shade. No direct hot sun duering the middle of the day.
This wont last, the tree they are near will be cut down due to disease.
