|Hetty, the leaves on your image look totally different from all the other ones in the entry, which show more jagged edges, (for lack of a more proper term I am clueless to,) and so I wondered if it could belong to one of the other Jatropha species. I don;t know anything about these. |
It is a gorgeous plant and I am jealous of anyone being able to grow it!

|I see what you mean, there are two distinct leaf patterns in the various pictures. Plantladylin's and mine are similar; then Hawcarica's are much more divided. When doing a google search for this plant, the same two varieties come up. This might need an expert!|
By the way it can easily be grown in a pot inside. It seeds frequently and I am always finding seedlings.

So can you maybe throw up a Plant ID thread with your images and see if some of the sleuths can help pinpoint the ID?
