These were made from pecan tree parts: the husks are the petals and the stems fell from the trees. All I did was use acrylics and a couple of coats of polyurethane and then mounted on a spare piece of plywood. Oh, and I tinted the frame.![]() |

I've seen sites suggest it before but the boxes here are too "thin". When I was in Maine recently we ordered pizza - "THICK" boxes, perfect! Dragged them all the way back to Virginia! ![]() |

Cliffdweller those are very creative Have you tried pine cones If cut carefully they make excellent wooden roses or zinnas The newer ones do better We once decorated gourds with them Check out my daylily seedlings Daylily forum page 4 |
