When adding this to my plant list there are many to choose from and I admit I don't have the smarts in that regards.

Smarts is not my area of expertise either but since joining ATP I have learned that many plants we call 'Geranium' may actually be 'Pelargonium'; it just keeps getting more interesting every day. If you can get it narrowed down to one of those two you can add the plant in the generic category.

I'm sure someone who recognizes your plant will chime in soon. Thumbs up

Looks like an ivy geranium, this is the generic entry for it since you don't know the cultivar name.

Thanks Suzanne, that's how I'll add it to my list then.

My guess would be that this is one of the newer interspecific hybids (zonal-ivy crosses) of Pelargonium. It looks a lot like 'Caliente Fire'. I've grown 'Caliente Fire' before and that would be my best guess for your plant. I've seen them sold a lot in the last few years and they are much more floriferous in the heat of the south than the pure Ivy Pelargoniums. Your plant is lovely! That being said, I'm not sure where you'd correctly place it in your list since you don't definitely know the cultivar. Shrug!

Danita, I looked at the link to the plants list you added. I pulled up my photo and enlarged it to one of the blooms. That is exactly it. I'll change my listing. Thanks so much for your help.
