I have searched extensively to try and find the name of this daylily and finally did the right search combo on the AHS database and found Calico Spider. It seems pretty much like what I have found on this site's database too, although it matches more pictures on google images than what has been uploaded here (I guess it all depends on the soil, lighting, camera and photographer Sticking tongue out )

Is there anything else out there that this could be other than Calico Spider??

I'm never confident about identifying something via photos. That said, the bloom you are showing looks like Calico Spider that I grow. It's an older cultivar now. Probably widely distributed, so if the bloom time and other aspects of the plant match as well, it could be. The best way to know for sure is to obtain Calico Spider and grow them side by side. That's not always practical, I know.

I am going to ask an odd question. Were these pics taken with a phone camera? If so the camera on my smart phone accents any red and they come out looking magenta or unnaturally bright so i use my regular digital camera instead when taking pics of blooms.
I ask also because while it looks like Calico Spider, our Calico Spider has much darker eye zone like burgundy red almost brown. I will see if i can post a pic of ours.

Yep here it is from last year.
Wow, after loading it looks more like yours then ever. Still a burgundy red but close.

These were taken on my Panasonic DMC-FZ70. I do find that my iphone pics do tend to be "richer" than my digital and kind of throw off the color a little bit. I would say that the colors in the picture are pretty true. I love the vividness of these flowers and definitely wouldn't mind adding a few more.

Oh so you have a fancy camera like my brother in-law has. I have Kodak 14 megapixel that you just turn on and shoot and the color is so much more true to the naked eye than the smart phone.
Heidi i think both our photos are Calico Spider as i see know difference in overall form or shape and the color is so darn close i cannot imagine yours being anything else than what you suspect it to be.
