Planted in spring 2011. As we had a very mild winter, with lows dipping to 0F or just below on only two nights, I'm unsure of it's hardiness here. Has a nice upright vase shaped form and is very vigorous.

It survived for 3 years with increase then nothing. I don't know if it was cold or poor culture which killed it. I've since noticed that LA rhizomes tend to "rise to the surface" and expose themselves.
