Today's Plumeria of the Day is Plumeria (Plumeria rubra 'India') .

A tall grower with many faces and a wonderful scent. Please join in, if you own this plumeria! We would love to know more about how it performs in your area!

Also, please consider adding a "Local Report" to the ATP Plant Database! Thank you!

Plumeria (Plumeria rubra 'India')

Remember, posting reports about a plumeria (or any plant!) in that plant's database entry will earn you acorns....... Whistling

Here is our India. We have had it for only a couple months. We are located in Texas, just north of Galveston Island.

I love the coloration in that second photo, Hetty. The brightness in the first photo sort of washed out the rich color. Alas, I don't have this one.

The reason it's so hard to lose weight when you get up in age is because your body and your fat have become good friends.

To my (poor) eyes, they don't look like the same flower. Dawg, perhaps your flowers are older than the ones pictured by Hetty.

The colors were more intense a month ago. The weather has cooled a bit lately and the colors have become less intense.

There is a huge range in color with any plumeria depending on where they grow and the time of year; this is why the observations from other areas are so important.
