I am sure this has been addressed before but I am ready to try this. Do you use rooting compound and then? Any info will be appreciated.

I'm sorry your question fell through the cracks and didn't get a response until now. I searched for "cuttings" in this forum and learned that no one has much luck with them. Here's some advice
