Yahoo I'm first in line. I woke up at 2:30AM and had a short nap today so I am ready for nightie-nite. Gotta stay awake until 8 or I will be up at 2 again. |

That LA Timaru is sure a lovely one. I can't get enough white lilies. Here's Pendant Peach again.![]() |

Ya know, I had a white lily but it's a late one. Gee I hope it's still there. It was a buggy lily. Moonfairy I think. Hummmm. |

For some reason I just love those pendant ones. They just fascinate me. |

Pendant and those recurved petals. My dh gets soooo tired of hearing that I have to get a new one because...yep. |

I didn't used to like the pendant ones, but once you see them blooming in person, they sure can grow on you. Here's Pink Giant. It was more like Pink Shrimp last year, but this is year is much taller and has 2 stems that are going to bloom.![]() |
stilldew Jun 19, 2010 7:26 AM CST |
And a new one this year. Karen North.![]() |
tggfisk Jun 19, 2010 7:30 AM CST |
Pink Giant goes on the must have list, Susan...KN has all the stuff I love in a lily. Gee, I wanna come hang in your gardens for a bit:)) |

Poor Karen North is growing in front of the towering, giant Fangio. I'm thinking a lot of my ones with the small blooms like Karen North will need to be moved to a separate bed with just the more dainty flowered ones. I'm sure Karen will grow taller in time, but the difference in bloom size bothers me.![]() |

Eurydice is another one that is getting overshadowed by giants and will get moved to the same bed as her sister once I figure out where that is going to be. |

Some areas of my garden are going into their burning up with heat stage. That's First Class on the left.![]() |
stilldew Jun 19, 2010 7:38 AM CST |
The front garden is much cooler, but I've planted a lot of hot colored containers in the driveway this year, so it a mix.![]() |

This is the first flower ever on Lemon Sauce. So very, very short this year I almost missed it. |
stilldew Jun 19, 2010 7:42 AM CST |
The fasciated Cecil is starting to open. I counted about 28 buds on it. It does have a sweet smell.![]() |

I can't help taking photo after photo of Stunning. Next year I'm thinking of moving it to the front next to Landini which is just about to open. ![]() |

Any thoughts on whether this one is South Pacific or not? It's about 3' tall. Looking at the photos on the plant files didn't help much. It looks a lot like bamagirl35973's. but she may have gotten it from the same co-op I did.![]() |

I have no idea about SP. The coloring is lovely and soft though. I see you love gaillarda, too. One day when I retire I'm going to get rid of the front lawn just like you:)). As for the back, I must leave some room for the furbabies. My first lily spot. ![]() |
stilldew Jun 19, 2010 8:35 AM CST |
Gaillardia is very nice about just reseeding here and there. I always let a few grow. This yer I started some of the TOKAJER GAILLARDIA which is suppose to have been brought froom occupied Germany. No blooms yet on it. Your lilies are wonderful. I really like the Tango one. |
tggfisk Jun 19, 2010 10:23 AM CST |
Oh, that's a nice one that I have on the ever expanding list;) The tango is the one that I think is Pup Art. This bed is doing better than ever with a bit more sun from the neighboring yard behind. Those are the folks that removed ALL their trees. |
