We had a "mast year" here and I've got dozens of silver maple seedlings that need a home. These would be good trees to put in a nursery for a year or two before planting out in a reforestation project. park land planting, streambank reclamation, etc.. Silver maples grow fast and grow big; I wouldn't recommend them for small backyards, but if you've got acreage and want shade, they are good. Will send them out for cost of postage in autumn when they are dormant.

I love Maples and the Silver Maple (Acer saccharinum) is a beauty. I wish I had room for one but alas, our yard is quite small.

I know this was almost a year ago but I might be interested if you have some this year. Plenty of acreage since a tornado took out most of the trees on our property a few years back. Postage would be the biggest question if you do have some.
