Love this new plant of the day!!! However I was wondering if the old plants of the day could be in alphabetic order and also have a drop down box to choose what plant your looking for. Every time I look at that page I just want to straighten it out. Does it bother anyone else or am I just OCD?

Well, if you are OCD, so am I! I, too, would find it more helpful to see them in alphabetical order and by plant species. The list is growing and that is making finding a specific cultivar a bit more challenging.

I can't really figure out what this feature is for. If I open a random Plant of the Day and look through the comments, then open the same plant in the database, there are often no comments to be found. I don't get it.

It's a forum feature.

What confuses me is why all these great comments are not somehow sucked into the main database comments under the specific plant listing rather than being somewhat 'lost' in the growing list of Past Plants. I do see that if I open a plant that has been featured as a Plant for the Day, a link to that thread is found toward the bottom of the screen. Seems a bit fragmented to me, but I don't often frequent any particular plant forum, so perhaps it makes sense to the daylily, plumeria, or semp people. I'll just quietly tiptoe away...

In fact, the thread is prominently mentioned for the plant in the database. Look on the right side under the large thumbnail image of the plant.
