I am interested if anyone is growing this Iris- experience? Growth habit? I'm in zone 9 and can't find it anywhere but would be willing to trade, pay postage or whatever (I would really love to have it)!

I'm afraid that I never heard of it. Who is the hybridizer?

I am smitten- I love the caramel and mulberry in the standards and Sutton's do very well for me.

Blue J Iris carry it, but they are closed for orders now until next year.

I think they start their orders again in January, so only a short wait!

Be sure to look at the Wiki.irises photo too. The colors are a lot more washed out than the picture on cubits. Could also be the difference between freshly opened and a day or so old too.. I try to look at many pictures when I'm trying to decide on an Iris to get a feel for what the color really is. Different cameras and different lighting also can tell a different story.
