I just brought home another load of pots yesterday, they were all succulents and one large bowl of just semps which I hadn't seen for a while. It's filled in really nice, I'll have to get a shot of it and share it in your new forum. I want to put semps into these driftwood pieces I collected on the Oregon beach a couple of years ago but as long as my daughter and her dogs live here, I can't even bring them out into the garden, they want to use them as chew toys.

How much longer will the dogs be with you? I just sent my daughters two dogs back home. They were so destructive, and they are small dogs.

Except when they see a bird or cat on the other side of the back fence, they go tearing down there at a galloping speed (one of them even jumps right through the raised beds to get there!) and I doubt any concoction will stop them from running through the plants at that point. It may at least keep them from leaving their 'mess' around my plants.

Sue - All that you did to even start this new garden area just blows my mind! The plants cover most of this now, but even before plants, this garden area is beautiful with all that attractive wood! Your husband is/was quite the carpenter! I love the layout and design very much! Ideal!

Oh how fun to go back and see how far we have come! Yes Becky, I feel very fortunate to have such a talented hubby to create such wonderful things!
The setting was what made us stick to the long, complicated and emotional process of purchasing this home, it took 9 months as it was a short sale.

All I can say is that your determination paid off in a BIG way! Congrats on creating the garden of your dreams! It is worthy of charging admission to see!
