My experiment rhizome I left out exposed of a pile of wood chips all Summer long has vanished. Something found it and took it away, along with a few missing rhizomes from some pots. ![]() |

Arlyn, I had been curious about using some tough historics in crosses with modern varieties- glad you mentioned that! "...and don't think the garden loses its ecstasy in winter. It's quiet, but the roots are down there riotous." Rumi |

I have an ignored Acoma that is defying me and growing even though it never quite got put in the ground. On top of earth, yes, by next spring it will probably beat me around the ears and point out how well it is doing, no thanks to me. ![]() Back to Napa: I made my small order for this year. Painter iris: Cherokee Flame Chocolatte (ordered but never got last year - different vendor) Spice Trader The no suprise I ordered it: Grace Upon Grace The rest: Darn Tootin'. One Burseen at least required. Point Of No Return - to try this one more time too. Mesmerized - who doesn't want a white with flounces? @UndertheSun Rob, forgive me if you already listed the Iris that you lost. Would you mind doing it again. I'm most of us can help out! • “Whoever said, ‘Do something right and you won’t have to do it again’ never weeded a garden.” – Anonymous |

Thank you Barbara, I've lost so many that I have lost track... I'll need to do a walk around and write down the name of every iris that I have and compare it to my data base. |

Lestv said:I lost a couple Blue J bonuses this year too. Bummed to lose Grace Upon Grace especially. John, I will put you down for Girly Girl next summer, if you would like? Good morning. Good news. I found Girly Girl yesterday. She popped up in the middle of my NOID bed, no idea how she got there. So thank you for offering her to me, but now feel free to send her to someone else.
